Leeds Trinity University – Andrew Kean Learning Centre

Education

EDCM have successful delivered upgrade works to the Andrew Kean Learning Centre at Leeds Trinity University.

The Learning Centre had reacted to feedback from Students in the 2012/13 academic year noting that there was a shortfall of computer workstations in the facility. The University appointed EDCM to increase the number of available workstations by 50 and the number of desks available for laptops or portable devices by 145.

The works were complicated by the exposed nature of the construction of the existing building and the existing floor trunking being at maximum capacity. Allenby and Stokell were the successful Contractor appointed and the works were completed utilising aluminium power poles, galvanised trunking, above desk power modules, below desk power modules and below desk cable containment.
